OpenAI puts its frontier models and Codex inside AWS. OpenAI announced that its frontier models and Codex are now generally available on Amazon Bedrock, spanning both Commercial and GovCloud regions (OpenAI). Codex — which OpenAI says is now used by more than 5 million people weekly — is positioned as a software-engineering agent that runs directly inside AWS environments, with its Daybreak cyber models and Codex Security slated to follow. Anthropic's IPO math comes into focus. The company reiterated that IPO timing depends on market conditions. China flies a new reusable-class rocket. The Long March-12B made its maiden flight June 1 from the Dongfeng commercial space pilot zone, lofting networking satellites for the Qianfan/Spacesail megaconstellation (Xinhua). CASC describes it as a new-generation reusable rocket with ~20-tonne payload to low Earth orbit; no recovery was attempted this flight, with a first-stage recovery test planned later.
